Table decorations

Kingfisher Caterers Weddings & Events is able to provide an exclusive table decorating service which includes unusual favours, charms and contemporary place settings. We have a wide range of stunning centrepieces and colour co-ordinated themes - including linen, flowers, lighting and the general ambience of the marquee and surrounding stunning environment. As part of our package we are also able to provide menu and name cards in a wide range of styles and can add all those special little touches that will make your wedding truly unique.

Drinks package

In carefully planning your food for the event we can work with our local expert partners to select competitively priced wines, champagnes and after dinner drinks that will not only compliment your menu choices, but refl ect the overall care and attention that has been given to the event.

Kingfisher Caterers Weddings & Events DO NOT charge corkage and are happy by arrangement to pour your own drinks at no extra charge including: reception drinks, wine at the table and Champagne toast.

For a small additional charge we can provide evening bar waiting staff and or a cash bar (dependent on overall numbers).

Cake stand and knife

We can supply a silver round or square cake stand with boxed silver cake knife, which can be placed on a table for your cake designer to display.

PA system

For those all important speeches, we can set up
a PA separate from the DJ/Disco. This can also be used throughout the ceremony for key announcements.

Wedding catering numbers

High-season (April-October):
Minimum 90 Adults.
Maximum 200 persons.

Kingfisher Caterers Weddings & Events is also able to undertake smaller Friday & Sunday events by arrangement up to 100 persons.

Weekday Weddings:
Minimum 60 Adults.
Maximum 100 persons.

Discounts can be given for celebrations with over 125 adults and for those wishing for single choice options from our menus:

• Single choice vegetarian starter.
• Meat or fish main with a vegetarian option.
• Single choice dessert:

from only £27.50 each

We are also pleased to negotiate discounts for out of season weddings.

Remember to talk to us about your marquee requirements as we have an extensive list of suppliers throughout the region.

The Kingfisher experience

Our approach is to give you as much flexibility and choice as possible and to support your special day with unrivalled care, service and attention to detail – something we like to call the Kingfisher experience!

To aid this, Kingfisher will of course provide you with an accurate quotation and cost breakdown of all food, staffing and related equipment, showing any additions, so as to make sure that you receive no unexpected surprises during or after the event and that you can budget properly.

We will, as part of our quotation process, visit your venue with you to ascertain if additional resources are required, this way you can relax in the knowledge that all aspects of your day have been fully considered, before making any formal commitments.

We would also be pleased to invite you to our kitchens to meet our experienced and professional team and of course, cook and present some of your menu selections, to whet the appetite! This way you can not only be delighted with the food, but look forward to your celebration, safe in the knowledge that one of the biggest aspects of your event is professionally represented and will be carried out with the care and passion upon which Kingfisher has grown its enviable reputation.

Menu planning and tasting

As part of our commitment to your event, we are delighted to offer menu and food tasting in our kitchen without formal obligation; however this is subject to agreement in principle of our initial quotation. It is also important for us to consider all special dietary requirements of your family, friends and guests and we make no additional charge for providing special meals.

We are also pleased to offer reduced price menus for children and can often provide alternative meals that reflect their tastes and have designed special menus to aid your choices.

We are passionate about working with local produce and where requested can use foods of providence. We also source many organic foods and would be delighted to discuss any detail of the catering produce with you.
