Kingfisher Under New Ownership
Dan and Rebecca Kempson have taken over Kingfisher from Pam and Ian White, who ran the company for nine years and helped establish it as one of the leading caterers in the region.
Dan, having previously been employed as Head Chef by Kingfisher for 4 and a half years, has taken over the reins with his wife and business partner Rebecca and both are focused on driving Kingfisher to greater success and further enhancing their reputation as one of the region’s leading event caterers.
Since taking over in March 2010, feedback for all events has been 100% positive.

Wedding of the Year - 2009
It is always a dilemma when we choose our ‘Wedding Of The Year’ but we think our competition winners Hayley and Jason deserved the title.
Jason is a Royal Marines Commando, Hayley works for British Airways, both are very romantic and had set their hearts set on the ‘perfect’ wedding. Their reception was part of our prize competition covered by the Welwyn
& Hatfield Times.
The couple commented, “When we got to the venue it looked like a fairy tale with the ivory, cream and pale yellow roses continuing the theme of our happy day. We owe a big thank you to Kingfisher who have supported us throughout the whole build-up to the wedding. The food was delicious and the arrangements went without a hitch. Everyone who attended really did have a wonderful day to remember”.
