Kingfisher Caterers opens 'The Rosebud's Cafe' at The Royal National Rose Society – Gardens of the Rose

The Royal National Rose Society Gardens in St Albans have been re–developed and the first phase was officially opened to the general public on 9th June 2007, including the 'Rosebuds Cafe' run by Kingfisher Caterers.
The gardens, designed by Michael Balston, were officially opened by renowned garden expert Peter Seabrook on 9th June 2007.
Garden highlights will include:
- A rose collection, showing the history of the rose.
- Roses in a garden setting showing different stylesof planting.
- A series of small model gardens to give inspiration for growing roses in small spaces.
- The newly replanted Queen Mother garden.
- New cultivar trials to provide an educational experience as well as being a pleasure to the eye when in full flower.
- a grass maze.
- 'Rosebuds' - the rose garden's new cafe which provides quality, home-made food and beverages.
- A much longer season of interest making extensive use of other plants which associate well with roses.
