About us
Since 1985 'Kingfisher' has catered at every type of event, from private celebrations to corporate events and the most important special occasions such as weddings. We have worked in venues as wide ranging as stately homes, town halls and huge private marquees, to gardens, private homes, church and village halls. We produce all kinds of foods to suit almost every event catering requirement and budget, from bites to banquets - from buffets to BBQs.
We have an experienced, well-trained and highly professional team of staff who are always discreet, friendly and courteous. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and a high degree of flexibility. We always strive to adapt to any environment or request, no matter how large or small the venue and we are always on hand to advise on aspects of the catering, organisation and planning, to ensure that you are free to relax and spend your time with friends, family or colleagues. When required, we also provide a huge array of additional event organization and support services to help you to bring every aspect of your celebration together, no matter what the occasion.
We guarantee to provide menus and service levels to suit almost every budget, without any hidden extras! We will work with you from the initial quote stage to the event itself, to bring you the freshest quality foods, prepared to order in our purpose built kitchen units. We will work with you to ensure that every aspect of your catering requirements are carefully considered, planned, actioned and delivered.

Because no two functions are alike, we will ensure that your event catering is tailor-made to your requirements. If you're not sure what you want, we will happily discuss all options and if you are working to a fixed budget, you can rest assured that there will be no unpleasant or unexpected surprises or hidden charges.
Our wedding and event menus are designed to give a wide choice in both the style of food you would like to complement your event, as well as guidance on serving suggestions and fixed prices to help you budget and plan every aspect of your catering requirements. As part of our quotation process, we will usually visit your venue with you to ascertain if additional equipment or resources are required. We also invite many Customers to our kitchens to meet our team and of course, cook and present some of the your menu selections, to whet the appetite! This way you can not only be delighted with the food, but also look forward to your occasion, safe in the knowledge that one of the biggest aspects of your day is professionally represented and will be carried out with the care and passion - something on which Kingfisher has grown its enviable reputation.
Prices are charged 'per head' and the majority of general equipment required to serve and present your meal including management of the catering for your day, crockery and cutlery. We can also assist with the supply of tables, chairs, linen etc for which we make a small charge, and we have a wide stock of wine, champagne and general glassware, which is also available for hire.
